| Goals and Objectives to Accomplish if Elected: | In collaboration with other members of the HEO Executive Board and the leadership of the President and President Elect, I facilitate and ensure that U.S. Department of Health and Human Services – Hispanic Employee Organization (HHS-HEO) fulfills its mission by: 1) improving the quality of the workplace for the HHS Hispanic/Latino (H/L) employees; 2) promoting and supporting recruitment, hiring, retention, training and promotion of H/L ; 3) establishing strong collaborative relationships with other Operative Divisions within HHS; 4) establishing a solid collaboration with national and community H/L organizations; 5) and addressing the needs of the 53 million H/L living in the U.S. |
