Goals and Objectives to Accomplish if Elected: | My goals for the HHS HEO are:1) to increase Hispanic Representation at all levels of HHS and 2) to unite and connect current Hispanics at all HHS Operating Divisions It is my goal to increase Hispanic Representation at all levels of HHS by bringing greater Accountability, Transparency and Performance to the HHS Office of Human Resources and their specific plans to increase Hispanic Representation. Many plans have been written, revised and rewritten with little to no results. This is a serious problem. I hope to bring greater attention to these recruitment issues in order to make bold steps to increase the Hispanic representation at HHS. It is also my goal to unify and connect the current Hispanic Employees at all HHS OPDIVS to foster greater collaboration on barriers and issues that face Hispanic Employees within HHS. A better connected HHS HEO community will foster greater collaboration on initiatives and projects that benefit our Hispanic families in our communities. Some of the methods for reaching this goal would include: launching and maintaining a new HHS HEO website (like this one), using social media to reach other HHS Hispanics and growing the HHS HEO membership. With your support, I shall make these 2 goals my focus. Thank you. |
